XBOX 360 and Game Streaming

Windows 10 does not support the XBOX 360 as it does not have Windows Media Center anymore. Previously, to be able to stream from the 360, that is what you had to use. I followed all directions on the XBOX App in Windows 10 and the XBOX Website to the letter.
The XBOX App does not recognize the 360 at all and there are no instructions anywhere or support regarding using the XBOX 360 to stream on Windows 10. Please help me out.

When is Xbox Ones next big announcement coming?

If you plug your 360 into the Xbox one that would be better than streaming and you could still play 360 games.

Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.

You can't connect the Xbox 360 to the Xbox App. Only the Xbox One can stream to the Xbox App.

Long explanation:

The Xbox One has specifically resources reserved to record or stream the console's video output, so you can stream to Beam or Twitch, or record your Gameplay.

The Xbox 360 does not have these resources. And since compressing and streaming video requires a lot of CPU power, and the Xbox 360 is uses nearly 98% CPU resources for rendering games (the rest is used for Guide, Parties and background music), the Xbox
360 also can't get an update to allow game streaming.

In short: It's not possible to connect the Xbox App to the 360.

You can not stream xbox 360 games to your PC (xbox 360 can't do that) BUT you can stream them through the windows 10 xbox app and have it connected to your xbox one that is playing a

backwards compatible xbox 360 game. You'll get achievements while you do it that way.

Are you talking about streaming from an Xbox 360 device, or streaming 360 backwards compatible games on the Xbox One? I thought you could already stream the 360 games on Xbox One via the Xbox Console Companion app on Windows or Xbox Streaming app on mobile
(streaming from your console). Or are you talking about 360 games via xCloud? If it's xCloud, then they haven't said, but I would imagine they would add some titles from 360 and original Xbox via the service. I don't know what goes into getting each title
into and work with the service, but it would be cool and can't be too bad compared to Xbox One titles as they improve the service.

To clarify, they have not announced anything, so no official word, but it is not impossible and I would say (again, stressing this is speculation) that it is likely as the service is fleshed out.
