Xbox 360 007 NightFire Alpine Escape not loading.

    Xbox 360 007 NightFire Alpine Escape not loading.


    I am having a problem loading the game. I am able to load/pass the two levels leading up to this one but once It get to the loading screen it freezes. I thought it may be a problem with the disk itself so I bought another copy. This new (used) copy does the exact same thing at the exact same place. I am very confused. I took the Xbox apart today and cleaned the scanner and removed dust from inside and it still does the same thing. So any other options to try? I dont know why two different disks of the same game freeze at the same loading screen.

    Also to note, All my other games run perfectly. 50/50 xbox / xbox 360 games no issues

    They did remake that for the 360, but I must say they should have incorporated 007 Nightfire elements into it, like the ability to play against bots >.>

    Yes, Tony Hawks undeground 2 works fine. Along with 007 nightfire.

    Please don't bump old threads. Considering all support for original Xbox games ended in 2010, it probably plays about the same.

    Hi,

    From the Wikipedia article on Xbox Original games it lists next to this title:

    "Freezes when loading levels that give the player full control over vehicles. Multiplayer with 4 people is extremely laggy, low framerate in large, open areas or areas with lots of NPCs. Cutscenes are glitchy during the party on "The Exchange" level when in
    widescreen."

    Looks like you're experiencing things that other folks were as well. Unfortunately, as Dave said, there's no way to get any sort of updates for these original Xbox games.

    While the problem could be the game. I know clearing system cache has helped other people speed up their xbox and could be a possible solution.. Here is the link.
