Try to
Factory Resetyour console. In this case you should choose "Delete Everything".

I am going to try to get in touch with a person at the nearest Microsoft store. See where that get s me. I bought it in December 21st last year. Still got 20 days of warranty. It is dead won't do anything now. Keeps going to the reset screen on startup.
Patience cannot help I tried that.

I do have an external drive. I have it on my old xbox1s which doesn't give me any trouble. This 1x isn't even a year old & Microsoft is telling me it is out of warranty. Will it confuse the xboxes if I use that same drive to go from one to the other? I'm
just curious because it seems like downloading fallout 76 over my wifi console to console using that feature of the xboxes because it was way faster sorta started this lockup business with the xbox 1x or when my son tried to play fallout 76 on it. That is
when it all began. He has an xbox too & we both own the game.yeah.. 3 xboxes & the most expensive one is the bugger... Very disappointed right now with this. Someone on the back end needs to fix it end of story.

Do you have an external drive? You could migrate the games over to that before doing the factory reset to save the hassle of re-downloading.
