xbox 1s will not turn on

Do you have the original Xbox One with the external power supply, or the Xbox One S or One X with an internal power supply?

If you have the original Xbox One, it may be that the power supply is the issue and needs to be replaced. You will need to search for one from a game retailer or online.

If you have the newer models, then unfortunately you will need to get it serviced through Microsoft device support.

thanks for the reply. i had already tried that. I just had hoped there was another fix besides a repair bill.

Hi,

I turned my xbox 1s screen override setting thingy from DVI to HDMI and my xbox turned off and has remained on a black screen. I have a digital xbox one and have NO EJECT BUTTON and cannot find a fix at all

First off, of course we'd again recommend going through the
Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off troubleshooting tool.

Next, I would like to ask, do you have the Xbox console plugged into a power strip or directly into the wall socket / outlet?

It is preferred by Microsoft and Xbox to be plugged directly into the wall outlet. Also, have you tried plugging in the Xbox into a completely

different wall socket in a different part of the room or home?
