Xbox 1s shuts off automatically

When I try to turn on my Xbox 1s on, the emblem lights up for about 5 seconds and then turns off automatically. At first I was able to turn my xbox all the way on and use it, but it would randomly shut off. I tried resetting the entire console and unplugging
it for a period of time. The problem continued and then eventually got worse. Now the xbox isn't usable. Why is it doing this and what can I do to fix it?

Hello Mark,

Sorry for the issue with the Xbox. We recommend unplugging the console completely for about a minute then plug it back in. Also when you plug it in make sure you are plugging the console directly into a wall outlet. You can also try the troubleshooting for

Xbox one shutting off unexpectedly.

No not installed.

I tried all the tips on xbox.com for xbox automatically shutting off.

None work sadly.

Iv dealt with it now for the past 4 days.

Can't take it anymore. Gonna return it to walmart for a exchange. Hopefully I just got a faulty console.

I've got this issue on both of my xboxs, I wonder if its an issue related to our accounts and not just hardware since it started doing this on my xbox one s and x at the same time.

Just say, Xbox Turn Off, and then yes. It shuts down to standby automatically.
