I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your console.

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

• Besides your TV, do you have any external devices plugged into your console?

• Regarding the app you mentioned, are you referring to the Xbox mobile app? if so, are you able to remote play on your console at the moment?

• Have you already tried using a different HDMI cable or HDMI port on your TV?

• Could you confirm if this is exactly how you tried to reset your console? the reason why I'm asking is that you don't need to hold all three buttons, it's just the BIND and EJECT buttons that need to be held.

- Turn your console off and unplug it for 30 seconds.
- Plug your console back into the outlet.
- While the console is off, press and hold the BIND and EJECT buttons.
- Without letting go of them, press the power button once (do not hold).
- Continue holding BIND and EJECT for 15 seconds or until you hear a second boot-up tone.

If successful, your console should turn on directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

• Have you already tried resetting your console's display settings? like this:
"Display reset"

- If there's a disc in the console, eject it.
- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- While the console is off, press and hold the power button and the EJECT button until you hear a beep to turn on the console.

You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Do not let go until the second beep occurs.

And these points work on both Xbox and Play station? We have an Xbox 1S.

Mobile (samsung) and Xbox 1s

If 'son 1' has a subscription then you must download 'son 1s' account on 'son 2s' xbox. then on 'son 2s' xbox make that 'son 1s' home xbox. more info here: Designate

Now after you do that your son with the subscriptions should be able to play on his xbox while the son without the subscriptions plays on his own xbox. I hope this helped.
