Xbox 14 day trial not working new profile never had gold before

All Xbox Live trials on Xbox One are eligible for every benefit of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, including Games with Gold. On Xbox 360, you’re only eligible if you're on an Xbox Live Gold one-month free trial.

If you're on a 14-day prepaid code trial, you're not eligible. You must have a current Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, or an Xbox Live Gold trial that requires a credit card.

Oh ok so what does it do exactly? Ive noticed zero changes

The Gold trial does not give you full access to all XBL services.

Whoops I meant new account - thank you Daft for the correction. However the 14 day and most other trials are only good for those who have never had gold membership before. They cannot be used if you currently have gold or have had it.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. Are you referring to the 14 day trial of Xbox live gold or Xbox game pass for PC? If you are being re-routed to the 1 month subscription, most likely means you have had the subscriptions before. The 14-day
trials are most times for customers that never had the subscription.
