    Xbox 1 X SW update issue


    My Xbox One X just stopped booting up a few days ago, I believe originally with an E105 error.

    It shows "Something went wrong" and enters the "troubleshoot" menu.

    I tried all options, including Offline system update from USB, as per the online feedback from Microsoft, and NONE work!

    I just end up with one of the various E102, E100, E101 or similar errors

    I have seen some similar posts, but no solutions that works for me.

    The only other feedback was to send the unit for repair at my own expense, which is unfair and disappointing for what is presumably an update issue triggered by MS!

    Also note the feedback for Offline system update is confusing: There is a small system recovery file, an Offline System Update files OSU1, and OSU2!?! Which are we supposed to use (OSU1 does not work for me meaning it shows 0% progress for a short time and then goes to an error page)! The OSU2 did show some progress (~20%) but then went back to an error page as well.

    If we are to use multiple offline updates, in what order?

    XBOX ONE KINECT TURNS OFF

    I've got my xbox one with kinect bundle less than a year ago. I've noticed that my kinect worked fine until a couple of months ago. Then I started having this aparently random shutdowns. I've tried soft and hard resets but it doesn't help. I don't know it
    it's related to a SW update or not. It' seems to be a lack of quality (SW or HW I don't know) issue if it happens to many people and in my case happened even before the 1 year warranty expired.

    I'm experiencing the exact same issue as Caldo after downloading the most recent sw update. Is a system restore the only known solution to this issue? I'm in Redmond, WA and Comcast is my cable provider,

    It’s a the newest Xbox one x and an elite 2controller that’s maybe 1yr 1 1/2 old. I will try this. But there could be an issue with the latest update
