    Xbox 1 X keeps.forcing me to type '-'


    So last night there was a bad storm and pretty much my power went out for a split second, turning my Xbox off, but then right back on. So I sign into my account and I can't click anything (I click on something, it makes the animation for clicking but doesn't load). If I hold down the button it just spams the animation, and when my friend sent me a message I held down the Xbox button, it being me to the keyboard to reply, but it spammed down dashes so fast that it hit the letter cap in like a minute. I've already tried restarting my Xbox and controller, and I've tried switching controllers. I do not want to do a power wash cycle but if I have to, I will.

    I will suggest for Hard Reset, this can be helpful if you're encountering performance or connectivity issues:

    1. Press the Xbox button on the front of the console to open the guide.
    2. Go to the "Profile & System" tab (the person-shaped icon) and select "Settings."
    3. In the Settings menu, choose "System."
    4. Select "Console info."
    5. Choose "Reset console."
    6. You'll have two options: "Reset and remove everything" (factory reset) or "Reset and keep my games & apps" (keeps your content but resets settings).
    7. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with your chosen option.

    On the video, Xbox Series X has USB type A only.

    The new controller, I think is type-A (Xbox Series X) to type-c (controller). (Elite2 is a to c usb)
