Xbox 1 X ( Brand New ) sync button broke

I bought this Xbox one X less than a year ago. When I first got it i Synced my turtle beach wireless headset to it. Today I used my headset on my old xbox at a friends. I came home and attempted to sync it back to my new xbox and the sync button has
quit working. So now i have this headset that is useless because i cant find a fix for this button. The usb ports work fine and i have factory reset the console. Thanks Microsoft!

I would try checking to see if you could possibly return the console under warranty and attempt to get it replaced, seeing as there is no "customer fix" for a broken sync button.

I have the same problem. I had a Xbox 1 x and it kept track but it broke so I bought a brand new 1 and this 1 doesn't keep track of time played for some reason and no one is helping

Also remember to keep the reciept to hand as proof of purchase for when you are looking at getting a replacement issued or a full refund.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. Sorry for the issue with setting up a new console. We recommend take it back to the point of purchase. Sounds like the console could be faulty.

Sync the Controller:
To sync a wireless controller with your Xbox, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the Xbox Series X console (located near the USB port).
While holding the sync button on the console, press and hold the sync button on the controller (located on the top near the Xbox button).
Release both sync buttons when the controller's Xbox button starts flashing. The controller should now be synced with the console.
