xbox 1 there is a problem with the update (help)

I've seen this happen before for a few different instances. I would recommend powering down the console by holding the button down on the console for 10 seconds, and then reset your modem/router by turning it off for 30 seconds, and then powering it back
up, and waiting for internet connectivity to be reestablished. From there, power back on the Xbox One console and let it connect and test the update again.

If that doesn't work, then I'd recommend
trying an offline system update via the steps on this troubleshooter.

the situation is very normal and common, so expect an easy solution.

But beforehand, let's divide the steps to solving the problem.

Just making sure,

If you are using a PC:

1. Click the "Start" Button, click "All programs", and click "Accessories".

2. Right-click “Command Prompt” Run as administrator".

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.


3. Type "netsh winhttp reset proxy" (without quotes) at the command prompt, and press Enter.

4. Try the update again.

If you are using an Xbox One:

1. Hard Reboot your console.

To do so, turn off your Xbox One console (by Pressing and Holding on the Xbox power button for 10seconds)

until you hear the beep sound. Then unplug the adapter cable from the wall plot for 30seconds. Replug and turn on your Xbox console.

2. Reboot your Router & Xbox console.

Unplug the Ethernet (if connected) from your console, and also repeat (Hard Reboot Process above).

i start the update and get to about 1% then it stops and says theres a problem with the update.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your Minecraft account on Xbox One. This seems to be a very common issue regarding Minecraft Better Together and has yet to be fully resolved, however, there are two things you can try to somewhat fix your problem:

1. Ensure your Xbox One has the latest updates. Follow this linked guide for help with that:

a. Turn off the Xbox by pressing the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds.

b. Pull out the power cable from the Xbox.

c. Wait 1 minute, then plug the power cable back into the Xbox and turn on the Xbox.

Try both and hopefully they will help fix your problem.

the error message means the update could not be downloaded from Xbox LIVE.

Please try the following:

(1) Try installing the update again.
