    Xbox 1 some notifications not popping up.


    I have notifications allowed and all notifications set to yes, but some party and game invites don't pop up, and I don't notice them until I open the xbox menu and the notification is there at the bottom left. I had this issue on xbox 1 and it has carried over to my xbox series s.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Let's refresh your settings by following the steps below:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Preferences > Notifications.

    3. Select Xbox notifications.

    4. Unselect "Allow Notifications".

    Once done, perform a power cycle on your console and then go to your notification setting again and this time, select "Allow notifications".

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Friends online notifications not popping up when they go online.

    Thats not quite true. Check your notifications settings on the dashboard. For me notifications pop up everytime any xbox friend on my favourites list or not, logs onto xbox 1. However no pop up will show if your xbox friend logs onto xbox 360.

    Same thing happening here. It seems like I get message notifications, but my acheivments almost never pop up. I just got four achievements in dead rising and not one of them actually popped up on screen. I sure hope they fix this

    Yeah, for me sometimes it affects the messages being sent and being able to see messages and your friend's list. Mainly messages.
    Ok thanks. As long as its more of a “normal” thing that can happen. I guess it could be a glitch with the series x/s on the system now as well?
