Xbox 1 S disk getting stuck when.... HELP!!

Okay so I am beyond frustrated about this. I bought this console brand new in November off of Amazon. This issue started shortly after I got it and has escalated to the point where it takes many MANY attempts to get a disk to go into my Xbox.

What will happen is this.... When I go to put the disk in it will get caught as it's trying to go in. If I take a light, shine it into the tray you can clearly see it is stuck and not going all the way into the disk drive. It always ejects the disk when
I press the button though.

It started out just doing it every once in a while and when it did if I'd just give it a tap it would go in. Now, it takes many MANY MANY attempts to get the disk to go into the xbox. I avoid even taking the game out and have no plans on buying any new games
at this point... Because why would I?? If the console won't even accept the disk then it's a complete waste of money.

I would really like to know if there is a fix for this issue that anyone knows of?? I know about sending the xbox off for repair, but I find that to be an annoying prospect and would rather avoid it if I can.

Hi there

It sounds like the disc tray/drive could be broken or damaged that's probably why the discs are getting stuck.

it may be annoying but sending it for repair might be the only option because it's a fault with the console its self

Sorry about that issue, but there is no other ways that send the console to the repair center, cause its hardware NOT software… Please raise a repair order here >

I need help, I was on the second disk and went to wellspring without saving, and now I'm stuck in the 1st disk. I tried to resume campaign the next day but it says "Insert RAGE disk 1" and my saves are at wellspring.

is your warrenty expired? there is a eye where you put the disk on that reads your disk. Sometimes it gets stuck or damaged. I do not suggest messing with this because it does void warranty. So I suggest calling 1-800-4MYXBOX and transferring to hardware.
They can help you with fixing the issue

Sorry i meant to say it only gets stuck when there is no game in the disk drive.
