    Xbox 1 ownership and games


    I have an xbox one with some digital games on it I purchased. My foster kids are returning home to their parents soon and expressed how much they loved playing on the xbox and I want to gift it to them. How can I give them the xbox and the games yet remove my information and cards so they can purchase things themselves moving forward?

    You can leave the console as your Home console in order to share the games you purchased with them and to be able to remove your account. If they don't have them already, they would need their own accounts and they can play the games from there. However, if something happens and you change Home consoles or they change consoles, they will lose access to the games. Digital ownership cannot be transferred.

    Unfortunately not mate, as Smutches said, its only available to your bro because he bought it on his account. The only option is for him to game share with you and you can have it on yours. Otherwise you will need to buy yourself a copy.

    If he bought it under his account, there is no way to transfer ownership to your account.
