xbox 1 controller

i am not computer savvy at all, but i downloaded the Xbox pc beta onto my laptop and desktop so my boys could play some games, but the wireless xbox one controller, i only know this because i bought it from a gaming store, doesnt seem to be working? some
buttons will work, but the main thing is that when you try to play a game the screen is constantly moving in a circle. i have tried trouble shooting, and restarting everything. i just bought the envy windoes 10 and its up to date.. what am i doing wrong?

The Xbox 1 controllers are horrible, is there a way to user my 360 controller with my xbox 1 ?

Xbox 360 controllers are more durable. Xbox 1 controllers are much lighter and sleeker. Xbox 1 Elite is overpriced.

Connect the console to the USB drive. If this is successful, it is from the battery or the battery port that the malfunction occurs
