Xbox 1 Controller repair

I sent my Xbox One controller in for repair when I was going back over the service repair order it stated that I said that it was a directional pad issue but it was actually a left joystick issue is there any way to modify my service order or do I have to contact Microsoft to be able to let them know that it's not the directional pad that it's the joystick?

I believe your controller will not be repaired but replaced. So it makes no difference where exactly the defect is.

Hi Floerbi,

You will need to contact customer support, preferably over phone, so that they can set up the controller repair order for you. Xbox Accessories orders require you to first register an Xbox One console since they are accessories meant for the console. However,
since the controllers are compatible with Windows 10 PC's, customer support will be able to work around that if your controller is within warranty. Please follow the steps to speak with someone over the phone:

Sign in at xbox.com.

Select Contact Us.

Choose your category. (In this case, Xbox One)

Select "See other options" when presented the virtual agent

Pick Payment & billing under Account management

Select Show Contact Options

Select to Request a call from Support

Hi,

thanks for the quick response. The Agent sent me two Times to the same Device site, but same Problem as Above.

And if I just change the Tab on the browser, the Agent gets closed and I have to start from beginning...

Regarding your controller getting serviced, I would suggest having it replaced instead if it is still within warranty. Use this link to get started.

Keep in mind this is not a guarantee that they will be able to replace it as this all depends on the controller's warranty.

In regards to an out-of-warranty service, no one here in the threads can provide you with information on where you need to go to have your controller serviced.
