Xbox 1 controller ! Grrrr...

Why do thumb pads start to creep of move by themselves ie when moving , aiming ' or in game menues @ £50 a time they should last longer than 12 months !! On my fourth one now absolutely fed up with them ! Might even invest in a new play station after all
these years of owning a xbox !!

Know where your coming from, had plenty of people pause it while 1 on 1 grrrr!

Main issue at the moment is the server's... shocking! Sort it out EA.

 

Stick drift is a common thing with all controllers, even playstation ones. The problem is the springs in the sticks that control the Y and X axis of movement wear down over time and there's not really a really good alternative to those springs at the moment.
If they could find a better way to design the sticks so that they wouldn't use these kind of springs that would be a revolutionary step in controller mechanics.

Sounds like stick drift...this can be a fairly common issue that develops over a long period of time and/or results from dropping the controller or storing it improperly. If you're not under warranty you may have to look into replacing it, apologies!
