Xbox 1 authentication vanished

Hi, been using ms authenticator for ages, it still works except suddenly stopped for xbox one i.e. allows sign in without the authentication step. Nothing else has changed. Tried turning everything on / off. Anyone else?

Hi, any other ideas on this? It does work when we follow your instructions. But it stops working after one login. Very confused as have been using it successfully for 2 years with no issues. Thanks

Turn the option off through the settings, then try to remove your profile, and turn off the console, unplug the power cord and wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in.

Turn on the console and re-add your profile, then turn the option on and check if it is working!

To opt into Two-Factor Authentication:

In your ACCOUNT Settings, click on the PASSWORD & SECURITY tab to view your security settings.
At the bottom of the page, under the TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION heading, click to ENABLE AUTHENTICATOR APP or ENABLE EMAIL AUTHENTICATION as your two-factor method.

I have the password what work to xbox 360 and xbox one and not active 2 factors authentic, the problem is in microsoft because it dont remember password, since 1 month.
