    XB1 Spectra Pro Wired Controller Disconnecting Issues


    I am trying to play a game like Rocket League and all of a sudden when I press a certain button, my controller disconnects for 3 seconds and then reconnects. I tried multiple methods but they don't seem to work. Hopefully, somebody can give me an answer as to why my controller keeps doing this.

    With issues like these, we recommend updating the firmware of your controller as it might be the cause of the disconnection.

    I recently started having this same issue with Windows 11. I'm using a PowerA Fusion Pro 2 Wired controller. Sometimes a button will get stuck on disconnect. Looks like the light stays on the controller like it's still connected.

    So I have the same problem but on a pc with a wired controller.

    With Bluetooth disconnected all the time so I started to use with wired. Didn’t disconnect as much but still plenty of times.

    I tried everything u guys have mentioned but still bad.

    Used the Ps5 and Nintendo switch pro controller, they worked perfectly.

    So I will try to change the controller to a ps5 instead. I still like the Xbox controller more but the disconnect it’s so annoying.

    My son gets crazy mad when the controller disconnects so I need to get a controller that works:)

    Both are wired, so wireless isnt an issue, even if I plug a controller directly into the xb1 via USB, it wont work.
