[XB1 Halo Edition] Unable to access troubleshooting mode

I've been desperately trying to follow these guides because I woke up my console the other day and am greeted with a blank screen after it signs me into XBL. To be clear, beyond the prompt, Everything is blank the entire time. At one point, I Did get the standard green xbox splash screen prior to this when trying to restart the device, but for the most part, all I get is idle blackness. The problem I'm running into is that the buttons on this model are capacitive, not pressure (unless I were to disassemble it I'm guessing). I have a Pair button on the far left side, adjacent to where the USB needs to go. The eject button is center on the console (capacitive) and the Xbox button is in the usual right/front of the console (also capacitive).

Because they're touch sensitive, I don't think it's recognizing what I'm trying to do. I've tried [Pair+Eject -> Xbox], [Pair + Xbox], and whatever else I can find online, but nothing works as "simply" as any youtuber seems to think. I think that once I can Get into the mode, then I'll be ok, but I just can't get there. All searches lead back to the same "push these buttons on Any xbox" instructions, but this one is never mentioned. Is there another way to do this? What would happen if I simply pulled the drive and loaded an known good filesystem image? (I'd have to find this)

I haven't tried restarting the console yet, however everything seems to be working correctly except I need to figure out what the Halo image was that I had my background set to Since that didn't seem to synchronize with everything else.

I'm currently loading the factory reset OSI, But it seems that with the USB stick inserted it went straight to doing the update. Even after doing the update, however I'm a however, it still boots into the same situation. I guess now that I've been into that screen I'll see if I can get the troubleshooter delowed now Before I go ahead and do the reset.

Before trying offline updates did you reset the console keeping games or deleting everything?

The 3 buttons are the buttons needed to enter troubleshooting mode on Xbox One Original (your case) One S, One X, and Series S/X.

Press and hold the eject + bind buttons and press and release the console power button while holding the other 2 buttons.

After hearing the second tone, release the buttons.

Before doing the command, I recommend removing everything from the console and just leaving the power cable and the HDMI cable connected to the console.

If you reach the troubleshooting screen, select ''reset'' and then keep the games and app.

If you still can't get into troubleshooting mode your console needs to be repaired.

To whomever else has this particular issue with this particular console later, It appears that the key here was having the OS1 USB inserted in the console before pressing the buttons as I could not get a response from the console otherwise that led to getting into the menu.
