    XB Wireless Headset and PC


    So I just bought the XB wireless headset. I figured out how to connect it to PC and XB, but when I turn the XB on the mic priority switches to it. I would like the mic priority to stay on the PC. When priority does switch i can use the mic in XB party chat but I can't use discord(on xbox) if that helps.

    Long story short i want audio from xbox but all other functions controlled by my PC.

    Ninja,

    Forget it my friend, right now there is NO answer to using any quality TB or Triton Xbox 360 headset with the XB ONE.

    I went to far as to return my XB ONE, I would rather have my TB XP 720 7.1 surround sound headset and a 360 then the junk that MS calls the XB ONE. We won't see quality headset until late feb 2014 for XB ONE..

    Bye bye XBOX ONE.... Hell my sweet 360 and headset.

    2. Turn on your Xbox One wireless headset and hold down the power button on the headset until it starts flashing. This puts the headset in pairing mode.
    3. Press the pairing button on the USB wireless adapter until the LED starts flashing.
    4. Once the LED on the USB wireless adapter stops flashing and stays lit, the headset is paired with your PC.
    5. Open the Xbox Accessories app on your PC, and click on the "Xbox One Wireless Controller" device.
    6. From there, you can adjust the chat mixer settings to your liking.
    Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to use the chat mixer on your Xbox One wireless headset with your PC.

    Same!! I thought mine was busted. This just started happening within the last hour for me and I can’t stand that static. Have to turn off the mic monitoring which obviously isn’t something I want to do. There has to be a fix outside of returning the things.
