If you have forgotten your pass code for your Xbox 360, you can reset it by answering the pass code question you created when you set up parental controls.

If you don’t remember your pass code question or don’t know the pass code for your Xbox 360, you can reset the pass code online.

You must meet the following criteria to be able to reset your pass code online:

Your Microsoft account must be an adult account.

The console must be registered in your name.

Sign in to your Microsoft account and go to the Devices tab.

Locate your registered Xbox 360 console and select Show Details. (If it's not registered you can do it by pressing add a device)

Select Manage, select Reset passcode, and then follow the instructions to reset your pass code

Hi there. If you set the correct date to your account when it was created, now that you're 18 there should be an option under Account Management to promote it to adult status. If you cannot see this option then the account is not yet 18.

If that is the case you will need to get your Dad's friend to go through a password recovery for that email in order to resolve this issue. If he no longer uses the email account and it has been closed then there isn't anything you can do.
