    X series game “not compatible” message


    I was given an X series Madden 23 disc earlier this year. I just opened it and it will not load on my Xbox One. It states on the game that it is a X Series game but I get a “is not compatible” message every time I try to load it.

    Am I just screwed on this one or is there something g I can do to get it to load and play?

    The game is not listed on the backward compatible games for the Series X|S consoles. So the answer is no, the dongle will not work on the Series X.

    they have currently stopped all backwards compatability to focus on the xbox series x as i believe they are making all xbox one 360 and original games compatible on series x

    A Series S/X is a different console than an Xbox One. So if it's only for the Series S/X, it will not work on a One.

    Xbox one isn't xbox one s or x compatible they are all compatible it's only the x that has some enhancements but generally the game will download on any xbox one

    Series x is just xbox series s or x
