x button not responding even after using different keybinds

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with your controller not working as intended.

Have you had a chance to
update your controller? Perhaps this could help any functionality issues your controller might be having.

Additionally you can try using the
Wireless Controller Solution article and see if some of these troubleshooting techniques work for you.

If non of these work for you, you may have to
Request an Xbox controller replacement. Keep in mind that the options available to you will vary based on the warranty status of your accessory.

Just a quick test, have you tried a different set of batteries?

You can try re-mapping those keybinds in the game.

Also, some laptops includes those keybinds pressing Fn+FX (where X is 1,2,3... depending of where the number lock or number delete functionality is marked)

I have a control that button A when pressed gives command X even without mapping. If I press A and hold for two seconds it will launch the correct command after giving a quick X command.

I noticed this by looking at the control configuration.

After remapping the controller the problem goes to the button that has been remapped as A.

The control is new and physically responds to all buttons, but the response of button A apamapically conditioned to give a quick command in function X and if kept pressed returns the correct function A.

I practically lost control over all the games because whenever I need A I first output an X command and the expected command after holding down for two seconds.

Does anyone know how to solve this control problem?

try this: when you reopen the game, go to keybinds > keybind presets > select default and reselect custom after that. check to see if your custom keybinds are back where they belong.

If not, try stopping on-demand texture from graphics too and retake the steps.

You might have to do the first stept everytime you open the game but, at least, reduce the time.
