    Hello, For over a week now the x button on my controller hasn't been responding.I tried searching for a solution online and found nothing on the problem short of taking the device apart, any advice is strongly appreciated. Have a great day.

    Xbox one home button not responsive

    Just a few days ago I noticed my home button wasn't worki NH non one of my controllers. I thought maybe my daughter had gotten a hold of it and drooled into it or something but to my surprise I was wrong. I opened a brand new controller only to see that
    that home button isn't responding either. Once I'm in a game I'm stuck and basically have to use my voice to go home which is very tiring. The home button on the smart glass application isn't even working. I noticed it started right after the patch for 2k16.
    Please help this is so annoying

    Xbox one home button not responsive

    I had this same problem and I had to unplug my console to get it working again. This is the third time this has happened where none of my controllers will respond to a press or double press of the home button

    From what I can tell it has something to do with the OS's responses to button presses specifically x button presses.

    Make sure to try using different batteries and USB Cable as well.

    I see. If that's the case, there's really something wrong with your controller though.

    i've reset it before and this doesn't help fix it because i'm having troubles with the sync button on the actual xbox controller and not the console. when i press the button on the controller it doesn't start pairing and does nothing at all. i've even tried restarting the controller multiple times but it hasn't worked.
