    Problem: my controller can´t connect to the adapter, because the adapter can´t install the drivers.

    System: Win 8.1 (k300850)

    Controller: new Xbox One Wireless controller with adapter. Bought on amazon

    Is there a way to connect my HTPC to the Xbox One?

    I understand that the X1 will accept HDMI In from a cable box, but I have an HTPC and run WMC on Win8.1.

    Is it possible?

    Connecting Windows 8.1 HTPC to Xbox One

    Same here, beta 5.1 on XB1 turned on -- Win8.1 box still will only send 2 channels over. Would really like a fix.

    Hello!

    I would try connecting it via USB cable to your computer first. This will cause windows to automatically install drivers for the controller. Once they are installed and it is working wired, try connecting it wirelessly to the adapter.
