as I said, the former email does not exist anymore, so there's just one email left to log in with, which is email "B" as described above. Email "A" is no longer registered at Microsoft and also does not exist as a mail address anymore.

I already reset the password before posting here. Resetting the password has no effect on the issue. The only proof I have is me seeing two X-Box accounts in my game launcher. Since I merged two Microsoft accounts I assumed that the X-Box accounts would be merged as well, as these do not exist as standalone accounts without connection to a Microsoft account.

However I went and read all of what I could tell might help me from the link you provided.

I think the part you may be missing is the fact that the email address I would want to change to "ALREADY" is assigned to a Microsoft account which I also use to tie to my MSDN account, etc....

So if I go to my old account and try to follow those steps (which says to first add the other email address then make it primary then remove the old) I can't get past the first step because it gives me an error "email address is already being used". So
to try to clarify what I need is...

I have an old Microsoft account with an old email address of which I no longer use the old email address and the only thing I use the old Microsoft account for is it just has my xbox gamertag with my Gold subscription tied to it (otherwise it would be useless).
So the account/email I wish to move my gamertag to is used daily and I have other stuff tied to that account, like my MSDN subscription, OneDrive and other things.

So as I was simply asking how can I move a GamerTag to another existing microsoft account/email without access to an xbox 360?

I have tried and tried but the situation gets worse. The last Microsoft rep suggested that by way of helping it might by an idea to close down my X Box account, which I agreed, because my eight year old has no longer had access to the account and I do
not want him to use any more of what he has bought. By everything is linked to my email an including Microsoft Office so she said that needed to be closed as well. So I lost Microsoft Office and his X box account and my request for refund was then turned down.
Now I have had a request t pay Office again, which of course I have had to do because I used it every day - and of course I no longer have the £2000 worth of games. A double whammy. It is abundantly clear from'chat' conversations that there are rules governing
how much supervisors can refund on an annual basis, which makes the Microsoft work ethic highly questionable.

When I use the link to billing, it sends a code to an old email address. I changed it in my account on the 16th. I've actually had this current email for two years, but I've been too lazy to change it until recently. When I select the link for 'not using
this email address' it takes me to the account page and reflects the changes I made on the 16th. I hit 'save' and tried again, but it's still sending the email to my old address.
