X-Box Series X shipping from Microsoft

I have the same issue, pre-ordered 9/11/20 estimated delivery 12/11/20. Nothing received so far except the order confirmation email, order status just shows "pending".

Having spoken to a very pleasant lady on the helpline ETA is now 23/12/20!

Apparently my "pre-order" is the second batch release. I did point out that the sales website is massively misrepresenting the delivery date. It appears this is a "glitch" they are working on. It sounded like she had given this scripted answer a lot.

If they had given an honest delivery ETA I would have looked elsewhere too, but now its too late.

Very poor customer service from MS Store, no update whatsoever to tell me the delivery estimate was off by about 5 weeks! Just wait until the customer calls in to query it.

Not the way to release the best next gen console MS, your good press for console will be marred by the bad press for not fulfilling orders....

Hey at least you got a shipping date i made my preorder september 23rd paid on 24th supposed to be locked in too a sure thing on 10th november but im still empty handed and short £449.99.

Ive gone the chat route which didnt work, went the phone sales route...still waiting for a proper excuse as to why i wasnt and havnt getting or got my console yet. Now the ps5 has released im seeing people left right and centre getting fulfilments for ps5
and no issues.

If i knew then what i did now, i dont know if i would of bothered buying an xbox series x.

A letter to Microsoft,

Dear Microsoft,

I am writing to you today in utter disgust at how you have treated your customers, first wave preorder fulfillment that you havnt lived up to your promise. I was told by all of Microsoft that i would be getting a launch console on the day of release.

I truly believe you are damaging your brand and showing how disorganised your system for dealing with "paid" pre orders by not supplying the console on launch day to thousands who in fact have waited almost 2 months these customers who have showed you brand
Loyalty which is hard to come by and rare when it comes to other gens.

The fact you havnt kept us in the loop a lot of people who did pre order in september are still waiting for there conslle looking at a "pending" on there order with no actual ideA what its supposed to mean.

Please sort this out for us.

Hi beckiinin, unfortunately there has been unprecedented demand for the new consoles along with the issues of the global pandemic that is affecting all areas of the chain involved in getting the products to market. I know this is extremely frustrating (I'm
currently still trying to source a new console to order with no luck!) but the situation will improve. I would expect the date given is a worst case scenario and it will be delivered before that actual date, most sources online are saying new ones will be
available to buy towards the end of this month so any that are already ordered will be fulfilled before that.

As for the tv that is a whole different matter!! which is a lot down to how much you are prepared to pay what kind of features you want. The 2 main screen types are OLED and QLED with OLED being the dearer option. What I will say though is to benefit the
most you will need to make sure it has 4K UHD and HDR10 and also see if the tv has a game mode setting.

My microsoft order for my Xbox series x still says pending but the icons have changed to a box that I think means shipping or being labeled. Should I be worried?
