    X box Series X controller grid buttons are not working


    My little brother has a series x and i use his controller for some games on my pc. recently when i tried paying halo reach his controller buttons were registering ( dpad, a, x, y, b, lb, rb) he said the night before i used it it was working fine and when i noticed this problem i switched controllers and his other one worked perfectly fine and still works fine so what happened to the controller and is it fixable?

    Have you already tried connecting your controller using a USB cable to see if your buttons work properly?

    If you can navigate your console using a USB cable, try re-mapping your controller.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Under Profile & system, select Settings.
    3. Under Devices and Connections, select Accessories.
    4. On the Xbox wireless controller screen, select Set up.
    5. Carefully review the current assignment of each of your controller's buttons. You can also select Restore to Defaults to reset the controller to its original button mapping.

    Be sure to check for driver updates as well. Let me know if this information was useful to you.

    Xbox one controller

    The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

    Controller suddenly stopped working. Lights up when plugged in, tried multiple cables. Does not show up under device manager.

    My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore
