    X-box remote play??


    Now that I’ve travelled abroad, I’m trying to log into remote play.

    it’s now asking me to set up my console again…..

    Now that I’m travelling I can’t see the code on my tv. How are you supposed to reset your console while travelling?

    Why would travelling force my console to reset?

    How are you supposed to use remote play why travelling?

    How can I set up my console again to remotely play? The only time I need remote play is when I’m not at home and can’t see the tv and the 6 digit code. Why have this be the only way to enable remote play?

    Hi Joel!

    Remote play is designed to be used only locally with your origin country. Accessing Xbox Live services out of region especially if Xbox Live Services are not supported in that country would violate to the Terms of Service from Microsoft.

    I suggest that you instead use the Xbox Cloud gaming service included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription where you can access games without having a console using the Xbox Game Pass app or your phone's browser as long as you're in a location supported by the service.

    Trying to set up a new X Box one to DirecTV. I'm lost at the input "satellite box remote code". I spoke with Microsoft, and they told me to contact Directv for the code. I contacted Directv and they told me they have no idea what code I'm talking about and
    that one doesnt exist - to contact Microsoft.

    Any ideas? Also, my tv has a 5 digit remote code and x box only accepts 4 digits. Thanks!

    Have you went through the steps of turning on remote play on the console? What are you using to use the remote play options ie: computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone? You have to go through the settings to set it up. You can follow this link and it will give you step by step instructions:

    on how to set the remote to program mode. As well, you'll find a link to a downloadable .pdf file which will include all available codes for LG TV's or, if they don't work, how to program it manually
