    My son wanted his own Microsoft account for x box one. We set that up but now his live account doesnt work. How can i make his new account work with x box live. We tried to buy it and it says have a parent buy. How do i do this?

    Greetings! It seems that your sons account is part of your Microsoft Family - I'd assume that you have the Parent account that can approve the purchase?

    • Now, when it says "Have a parent buy", did you receive a message saying "Ask a parent for permission" and the option to
      "Ask now"? - If you got those when making the purchase, you should receive an email (on parent account) asking for you to approve or deny the purchase - once you approve it, the payment instrument tied to your account (parent account)
      will be charged and will be under your order history. Then your son should have the service on his account.

    • If you want to get your son's gaming as soon as possible on Xbox Live, I can also suggest getting a Xbox Live Gold - Prepaid Code

    I can verify that x-box one games will transfer from web to the x box one. The free game of the month will only work on the 360 there is no backwards compatibility feature on the x box one as of yet.

    Can I just say that these details are for X Box One and they are not the same for X Box 360. There are no options for technical support on X Box 360.

    Yes, I've gone to the website to download X Box One games to my library, but I cannot.

    To clarify again, I don't have an X Box One console so I cannot install it. The message will say I don't have the required device.

    I do have a one year gold membership, pre-paid card.

    In the past, games with gold can allow me to add an X Box One game to my library even without an X Box One console. If I purchase an X Box One console, my free games with gold games will be in the library.

    Now there is no option online to add the X Box One game to add to the account unless I own a X Box One console.

    Hopefully, you can help further. If not, thanks for the reply anyways.
