X-Box One - Repeatedly blowing the fuse in plug

Thx for reply, no it was it's original cable direct to wall socket and with original 5A fuse, I replaced once and it blew as soon as connected back to the console.

which version of the xbox one is it. may have to be sent for repair as i would not attempt to use if blowing fuses.

13a fuse, is that the main cable for the xbox or an extension lead, if the main cable for the xbox this should only have a 5a fuse.

if it is an extension lead then replace the extension lead, but damage to the xbox may have accurred due to fuse blowing multiple times.

Firstly please make sure you are using the correctly rated fuse for the plug do not put a larger fuse in as this is not advisable and may not be safe. After this you will need to try to work out why the fuse keeps blowing I would first try replacing the
power cable from the wall outlet to see if the power cable is causing the fuse to blow.

the OP says he swapped a fuse in the plug. if he did that in in the power brick, which DOES have a fuse in it, then he probably blew the warranty on it. also, if you plug your xbox one's power brick into a surge protector, you likely WILL blow it. the xbox
one's power brick was not designed to be plugged into a surge protector, just the normal wall outlet

Mines just blown up, little over a year and a half old, every time i change the fuse in the plug and plug it in it trips the power to the room immediatly with a scary little zap noise blows the fuse in the plug 😨 Microsoft want 195 quid to repair it,
that will take the total cost of my console to £635, ill repeat, little over a year , playstation here i come 😏 my xbox 360 had the red ring of death, glitchy xbox one and now a dead xbox one x, cant blame me really.
