X box one has passkey I don't set up

Xbox 1 has passkey I don't remember setting up. When I enter wrong code 3 times take me to anothe screen to sign on with password for a gmail account when I enter that password it says wrong password I know without a doubt it's right then it says in red
letters to sign in using Microsoft password so I tried that does.the same thing how to I get around that. Even tried different wireless network connection.

You can remove it and reset it up if you want or don't set a new one up.

Remove Your Passkey:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > Account.
Select Sign-in, security & passkey.
Select Delete my passkey.

Change Your Passkey:

Once your passkey has been removed, you can create a new one:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System>Settings>Account.
Select Sign-in, security & passkey.
Select Create my passkey.
Enter a six-digit passkey, and then re-enter it to confirm.

You will either have to enter the correct password or try removing the passkey from the xbox to see if that works.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue with the passkey. Do you recognize the Gmail? We recommend trying to log into the
account website with that email. This way you can try and change the password if it isn't correct. Important note: When using a third party email like Gmail or Yahoo it is possible
to have two different passwords. One is to sign into the email itself, the second is when you create a Microsoft/Xbox account with the third party email.

Ummm, it does - if you go to "Settings > Sign-in, security & passkey". Check the box so that "purchase requires passkey". Am I wrong in that assumption?
