    I believe the standard warranty for the Elite controller is still the same like any other input device, but
    unfortunately that warranty is 90 days from purchase date. Your controller's warranty has very likely expired by now.

    Unless if you bought some kind of extended warranty through one way or another, you will likely have to pay
    full price for a replacement if you follow the
    repair/replacement process     through Microsoft.

    Sorry, it's probably not what you want to hear, but I hope this helps.

    You can't register the controller. You'll have to contact support and work out a replacement option with them, if available.

    Hi

    I think when you are in the Device Service & Repair web page if you select your Xbox One console then select the accessories and controller option you should be able to enter the controller serial number here.

    Is it normal for both analog sticks to be pulled up and pushed down a bit on a new xbox Controller

    I have no problem with the standard series X and X box one pads

    but my Elite Series 2 has a lot of stick issues and the tension tighten tool

    thing was not in the sealed box with the new core controller

    despite it being on the box it should be include, my pad replaced

    the broken Black one which came with everything but broke the

    next day I am hoping the Elite Series 3 is better, it would be nice

    if they did a version with advanced chat audio and EQ like

    one of the Branded Licenced controllers do, but hey gone off topic a bit.

    Luckily for you if is still under warranty if only a month old. Unfortunately they're poorly made controllers. Low quality.
