Discus and support X-Box One Blu-Ray issue in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; my blu rays keep glitching on my xbox one I've tried to play said blu rays on my regular blu-ray player with the same results so I need to know is it...     my blu rays keep glitching on my xbox one I've tried to play said blu rays on my regular blu-ray player with the same results so I need to know is it the console/player or do I have to buy said blu-rays again? because the disks aren't dirty no matter how many times I play the blu-ray this problem just started last year and has continued on this year with a certain number of blu-rays even if the disks aren't dirty the problem keeps occurring

    Xbox one won't read discs

    My x box one won't read any disc .I try x box one games,I try blu-ray ect.. keeps saying error. who do I contact someone about this?

    Hi,

    Sounds like the laser in your console's Blu-ray drive has a hardware issue.

    To test if your Xbox One X has issues reading discs, try playing a DVD movie disc. If can't read DVD movie discs either then your console has a hardware fault.

    Note: It must be a DVD movie disc, not a Blu-ray movie disc.

    There are two lasers in the Blu-ray drive, one for reading Blu-ray discs and one for DVD discs. Xbox One games use Blu-ray and the 360 console used a DVD drive.

    When I turn on my X-Box One after playing my X-Box 360, I have horizontal lines, and screen eventually goes black.

    Well, I tried plugging my lap top into my tv as well as using my Blu Ray player, and there were no issues. I used by 360 on another tv and had no issues there. Its only my X-Box One that is affected by my 360.

    H.D.M.I. in and Xbox One S

    The Xbox One S is fully capable of playing Blu-Ray and DVD movies, especially 4K UHD Blu-Rays. You just have to download the Blu-Ray app: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/apps/bluray-info

    Otherwise, any HDMI-capable device will work through the HDMI-in port on the Xbox One.

    I had to set the Blu-ray player up as a cable/satellite box though the One Guide, you were spot on Daft Badger.

    No sense burning out my drive prematurely on the S playing D.V.D.s (D.V.D.s don't look right on the X Box One I.M.H.O..) and regular Blu-ray movies when I have a stand alone player already in the room. I bought another PS4, for the bedroom, and was short
    a H.D.M.I. port; everything is working great now.

    On a side note, when moving my bedroom around, they X Box fell on the floor from about 3'. Was worried for a bit, but not a scratch and still works fine! Hurray!
