X box live sometimes work then only for works for 5 mins then turns off

try rebooting your net work system . turn off all motem and routers for 5 min then turn your motem back on let it load for at least 3 min then turn on your router let it load for 3min them start your xbox then go to system settings in your box then do a
network settings (test xbox live connection)

i did all the steps save Request a repair.

pulling out the hard drive only works sometimes.

i have found that if i take the one game in my collection that works every time and let it load up then switch to a different game with out turning off the x-box will get it to work sometimes.

Have a regular xbox one x with LG27UD69P monitor. Worked fine yesterday did update, played one game for 5 mins and turned off. Started today and only blank screen. Changed cables and settings. No luck. Welcome any thoughts. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Francia, i have already turned off my modem a couple times.... The only thing i did not do is waiting 5 min before turning it back on.

I am not in front of my xbox now, i will try more time to turn off my modem than wait 5 min.

If this wont work, i will have to ask forna refund, sadly

First off are you on Xbox 360 or Xbox One?

Xbox 360:

Turn off your Xbox for 5 mins and turn it back on again

Xbox One:

Turn off your Xbox by holding down the power button, leave it off for 5 mins and then turn back on

If neither of these work then you might have to uninstall the game. And then re-install it.
