X box latency is 2,000. - help!!!

We understand the frustration this might bring but rest assured we are here to help.
First things first we suggest clearing out the Network Card Cache since when it gets full might cause this type of errors.

To clear the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address)

Network

Network Settings

Advanced settings

Alternate MAC Address

Clear and restart

Give it a shot and when the console comes back up, test the Detailed Network Statistics test on the Network Settings Page and let us know how it goes!

How fast is your internet? http://www.speedtest.net What kind of internet? Cellular/Radio/D.S.L./Cable/Satellite? If it's Satellite, hang it up, your latency would only ruin other peoples fun if you got into a match.
According to the box my original X Box One came in, the minimum download speed is 1.5Mbs. If your playing online I would recommend no lower than 1.5Mbs down, 1.0Mbs up, and no more than 100m.s. ping/latency; and that's assuming your just using the X Box with
no one in the house using the internet.

if i understand it right even if the ps4 was selling for £500 it would be cheaper in the long term because you can trade in games.so by the time i have played 50 games on the x box one at £40 a time that equals £2,000.but if i play 50 games on the ps4 and
trade them in for an averageof £20 it will cost me £1000 a saving of £1000
