    X Box game (Fallout 4) won't start - corrupted data


    Playing on Xbox - X, after 100 hours, Fallout 4 will no longer load. I believe this is because of a corrupted file, but I cannot load into the game to delete it. I have tried a hard reboot, checked internet connection, deleted and reloaded the game, but
    as soon as the game loads to begin, it crashes. I have deleted save files on Xbox, before reloading them from web, but this causes the game to crash too.

    I don't want to start over, is there a way to save the game without deleting everything on the console as well as the cloud? I am playing with mods, but until now that has not been an issue.

    If anyone has advice, I'm open to suggestions.

    I know you're pain fella, got over level 50 before first dlc, pretty much completed the story, then low and behold corrupt data.

    Unfortunately i could not save it.

    I always multiple save now if i can

    Skyrim and oblivion were just as bad

    I also lost my save on fallout 4 due to corrupted data, I'm sorry but I don't think there's anything you can do unless you have a backup save somewhere

    The game won't even make it to the main menu.
    Do you have another other Xbox profile you can try with your game?

    If not, can you create another Xbox profile and Gamertag for testing purposes please. No need to sign up Xbox Gold, just create the account and add it to your console. Then sign in on this profile and try your game again.

    The new profile will be clean with no save games or game mods. It should make Fallout 4 run in standard mode. See if you can get to the main menu now and start a new game.

    If you can, I think the issue is with the mods you used. If you still can't get to the menu with the other profile, there must be an issue with the installation of the game.

    Hi Brian,

    Thanks for keeping us updated. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the game. Uninstall the game completely, then

    power cycle     the console, once you turn it back on then install the game again.
