X box fitness

Tried Miss Diggz solutions but without success. Even upgraded to gold as I wasn't sure if that was needed?

Same Issue here in Ireland and the troubleshooting steps do not work. Purchased a Kinect last week solely for the purpose of using fitness.

 

it worked for me the last 9 days, today cdn error again . it was stuck at the loading screen and downloading something. after 10-15 min i got the cdn error. does someone know what the app is actually downloding at the beginning? this happened to me a lot
of times even before the cdn problem

If any of you are experiencing this CDN error with the Xbox Fitness home screen in the background, just simply let the CDN error sit (do not click anything) while the game continues to load the necessary files and it should resolve.

If any of you are seeing the CDN error when launching Xbox Fitness, but Xbox Fitness never loads and the home screen is not visible, we want to reassure you that the proper teams are continuing to still investigate this issue. I
will be sure to post up in here once I receive any more information and updates for you guys.

Hello there, I just want to report the fact that I'm getting the infamous 'CDN error' too. I's over a week now (nothing changed on my routers, network setup or ISP provider since months).

I've tried everything bug the 'remove friend thing' and the 10 seconds Power Cycle (I forgot about that, but I regularly turn off and totally unplug the XBox fron the powerline every time I'm not using it).

I'll try the Power Cycle and another reinstall tonight when I get back home from work.

 

Hi again tried to let it sit as stated to do so above, still no luck it just kicks me back to Xbox main screen, just thought I'd let you I was still struggling

I'v tried to "let the CDN error sit" but the only thing I get is a kicking back to the main screen.

 

Same error here, "Resource not found. CDN error." when trying to launch Xbox Fitness. It had worked fine for me for about 3 weeks (sometimes it was really slow to load). It last worked on Saturday May 16, 2015, then yesterday morning, Monday May 19, 2015,
I started getting the CDN error and it has been the same since.

Can some one from support at least respond with what CDN stands for?

I'm not sure if I'll embark on the delete, reset, and reinstall route. It seems more likely to not work than work.

Please help us, Xbox support team!

 

CDN stands for Content Delivery Network. It is what big web services use to get their content to you. Basically a whole bunch of servers.

Which would make it seem it is an issue on Microsoft's side. Literally the error says something is missing on Microsoft's servers. But because not everyone is experiencing the error it is hard to say what is causing it.

BTW, I deleted the Xbox Fitness data stored on my Xbox One, then powered it down by holding down the power button for >10 seconds. I then unplugged the Xbox for the day while I was at work.

Now that I'm home, I plugged in my Xbox and started up Xbox Fitness. It's reporting "Sorry, but Xbox fitness is currently unavailable as we are having trouble..." "FitCloud Server Error"

 

Xbox Fitness has been down for me for the last 5 days. So annoying !

 

Same here. I've tried all of the steps multiple times (new account, clearing cache, deleting, reinstalling, hard resets etc).

My only conclusion is that the service must be down at their end because I've never had a problem before.

Very frustrating given how much I paid for Insanity & P90X...

Hi Miss Diggz and support team members, I'll keep a running list of my troubleshooting activities and results. Maybe it'll be helpful to you and everyone else.

• Deleted the Xbox Fitness data stored on my Xbox One.

• Returned home, plugged in my Xbox and started up Xbox Fitness.
• Received "Sorry, but Xbox fitness is currently unavailable as we are having trouble..." "FitCloud Server Error"

• Xbox Fitness returned to dashboard 4 times during the green screen while launching.
  
• After 4th time, it proceeded past the Don't Over Exert Yourself screen, and reached Syncing data from cloud screen, then returned to dashboard.
  
• Tried again, succeeded through syncing data then received CDN error and was sent back to the dashboard.
  
• Uninstalled Xbox Fitness.
• Power cycled my Xbox One console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.
  
• Once console was off, unplugged the console from the power source and gave it a few minutes.
  
• Plugged all the cords back in and turned the console back on.
• Re-installed Xbox Fitness again (was not logged into any profile during the install)
  
• Logged into my profile then launched Xbox Fitness. Stayed ~2 minutes on the green screen with one of the "working" dots illuminated then stayed about the same amount of time on the Don't overexert yourself screen.
  
• Successfully launched and completed a quick run through of a 5 minute recovery workout. Also restored my previous points/stamps/level!
  

 

I think the first step is to identify properly the source of this problem instead of carrying out many tests -- some meaningless-- which only prove that some players are luckier than others.

The first thing would be to try the steps below (Can you please answer the questions below if you have a few minutes):

1) Does it work on your console with a profile which never used xbox fitness ?

2) Does it work on an another console with your profile ?

3) Does the xbox fitness app was ever used before on this other console ?

4) Does it work on this other console with a profile which never used xbox fitness ?

Hopefully, this would allow the support teams to identify quicker the source of this issue.
