X Box Elite 2 Hardware Issues

I received an Xbox Elite 2 controller for Christmas. By February, I had drift issues. It was within warranty and exchanged it. Now, I have a sticky button. Of course my warranty ran out less than one month ago. Microsoft has acknowledged hardware
issues, and yet I still have to pay for a replacement? My first series Elite lasted way longer than this one. I'm beginning to think I'm better off buying a third party controller.

For sticky buttons, you may want to try delicately cleaning the ABXY area. I clean my controllers once every couple months to avoid any issues, usually clears up sticky buttons for me. A can of air duster will also be your best friend to get contaminants
out of areas a cloth can't.

This constantly happens with my Elite 2 except on my Xbox Series X exactly how you describe it. I assumed it was a software issue with the Xbox, but if I'm understanding you correctly you are connected directly to your tv via bluetooth. This leads me to believe this may instead be a hardware/software issue with the Elite 2.

Hopefully this context helps any advisors that may look into this.

I have no problem with the standard series X and X box one pads

but my Elite Series 2 has a lot of stick issues and the tension tighten tool

thing was not in the sealed box with the new core controller

despite it being on the box it should be include, my pad replaced

the broken Black one which came with everything but broke the

next day I am hoping the Elite Series 3 is better, it would be nice

if they did a version with advanced chat audio and EQ like

one of the Branded Licenced controllers do, but hey gone off topic a bit.

Has Microsoft resolved the production issues with the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 with a hardware refresh?

Thank you for adding your voice here; you're the first person to be able to confirm that X Box One controllers *do* work with the app - good to know for sure that the issue is with the Elite Series 2 & the app compatibility specifically and not just all controllers through the app.
