    X box and Fortnite


    We have had an X box one and Fortnite for some time now. Our boys are playing a lot and we wish to make children account for both of them in order to limit their playing time. One of them wish to start a new Fortnite account while the other one wants to
    keep the benefits of the account they have used in common up to now. How can I do this? I am not very familiar with the differences between microsoft account/ gamertag/epic games account...

    I tried to register them with their own e-mail address and include them as family member in a family account in Microsoft. But when they tried to get in Fortnite, they did not manage to log inn.

    Unfortunately not...it shows he has a balance online at his microsoft account page, but not on the x-box/in Fortnite.

    This worked for me. After signing in on x-box highlight Fortnite, press start button (not a) go to manage game add-ons, go to saved data (temp cache), delete. Start Fortnite

    The Epic account he wants to keep is originally connected to his e-mail. If I change my gamertag to soething new and he takes the gamertag I used, could that work?? He is of course very afraid og loosing everything he has bought:-(

    If the account is connected to his email address then there is no issue. He can keep or change the Xbox gamertag without any issue.
