wtaching tv on xbox one s problems

hi.

on my xbox one s:

using OneGuide .

every day if i play a game and after a while go back to watch tv. the picture freezes and moves and unfreezes every 2-3 seconds and has no sound. only manual reset of the console fixes it, whats going on?

You're going to want to use this guide to troubleshoot those problems, It's possible the TV doesn't fully support the needs required to get 4K on the Xbox One S. It's also possible that there is a setting that needs to be changed on the TV to allow this

Dolby Atmos random cut outs

I have too sound/picture cutout problems. I have Sony HT-ZF9 3.1 Dolby Atmos Soundbar. It seems to be only when enabling Atmos on Xbox one S. Super annoying. I have latest Sony zf9 soundbar update. It enabled eartc option but that didnt help for the problem
either! Microsoft fix this and fast!!! When i not using atmos on xbox one s everything works just fine.. so its xbox one problem not soundbar or tv! I have sony tv also.

 

Your set-top box may need to be reset to clear out incorrect configuration data. Disconnect any cables—including power—from the device for 30 seconds or more, and then plug them back in.

does this happen after any game you play or only a specific one?

Is your console set to Instant-On or Energy safe mode?

Is it possible to check if this happens only for your profile or other profiles too (if present) ?

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem.

That's strange, if I were you, I would go ahead and try a soft reset to make sure that everything is fine with your console software wise.

It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.

WPAK - this happens after every game. not only games in fact, even could happen after being in netflix.

i have only one account.

i tried to unplug an wait for 30 seconds.

its fixes it

and then happens again after awhile.

M3tal Daz3 -i dont use OTA (i think) the cabel box is connected directly to the console,

it almost feels like the xbox "runs out of memory" or somthing to run the tv after more application or on...

soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.
