Wrongful report

    Yesterday I accidentally reported my friend, and I fear he will get banned for it, I would like to cancel the report if that is possible, any help?

    Im a competitive COD player i play online in public lobbies as well, its gotten to the point where im getting harrassed verbaly and through messeges on a daily basis. And being threatened to be fraudulantly reported at least once a day. I follow all conduct
    . These people need to be handled with as soon as possible. Any reports against my account are false, and i will not sit back and allow people to terrorize the online community and myself with harrassment and wrongful reports thank you for your time

    Wrongful report

    As long as your didnt do anything wrong he wont get banned/suspended. All reports are investigated by the Xbox Enforcement team before any action is taken

    How about automated flagging of accounts by a company that has no valid avenue to discuss or appeal, I was flagged in forza 4 due to a cloud save game glitch and have no recourse it seems.

    As long as your didnt do anything wrong he wont get banned/suspended. All reports are investigated by the Xbox Enforcement team before any action is taken

    People can report another person for absolutely ZERO reason, its just 1 of those things.

    The reporting system is automated, so unless a few dozen people actually report you for cheating.. don't worry about it.

    Not to mention, if someone reports you, then their chances of randomly running into you again are lowered.. so don't worry about it.

    ..unless you actually are cheating?

    The PET (Policy Enforcement Team) says spamming the report feature on the console will do nothing if the person getting reported did nothing. It will most likely result in consequences for the person doing said reporting.

    Reports, if enough people send one to the same player, will get reviewed in a relatively timely manner. And, if you were really doing what they reported you for, Microsoft will act accordingly. Unless you were really cheating, you are perfectly fine account
    wise.
