Wrongful Forced gamertag change

My gamertag that I PAID FOR and that i have had for over 2 years was deemed inappropriate just today and was forcefully changed and now they want me to pay to change it. My name was [Mod Removed]. [Mod Removed] It is wrong that my name was forcefully changed
and they wabt me to pay for it.

Gamertag forced changed, was told I didn't have to pay the fee.

My gamertag was forcefully changed yesterday. I contend this was wrongful and the result of some idiots holding a personal grudge against me and reporting me en masse. Whatever the case, I posted on the other enforcement forums and was informed that I was
in the wrong place (despite support linking me there) and that gamertag forced changes were not debatable.

Fine. This is my first issue in several years here but that's fine. So I'll change it. I spoke to support twice and twice was told that the $10 fee would be waived since this was a forced change. But when I went to change my Gamertag, it asked me to pay
the fee. So I spoke to support again and was directed here.

So I'll try one more time ... I'd like to request that the fee get waived so I can change my Gamertag, or if someone here has to do it for me, I'd like my gamertag changed to "" all lowercase, just like that please. Thank you very much.

Hi, forced gamertag changes are only imposed under certain circumstances. Having your personal info, name etc isn't recommended but also isn't against the terms of use or code of conduct.

For information about why it was changed and to see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com However, it will most likely be upheld. The forced gamertag policy is per the code of conduct you agreed to.

Support was wrong. Nobody in these forums can assist with forced gamertag changes.

I'm afraid you are wrong there, it has been changed so that even a forced gamertag change will not result in a free gamertag change. It will change the gamertag to an autogenerated one and if you want to change it you will need to pay the same price to do
so.

You can't get a forced gamertag change here in the forums, I'm afraid live support is wrong... :-/

Hi! The problem is Support was wrong, you cannot ask for a forced gamertag change, One has to be forced on you hence the term. Plus the Enforcement team does not frequent this part of the forums. If you feel you need to change your gamertag you will need
to spend the 800 MS points to do so.
