Wrong profile on new laptop.

I purchased a new laptop and I realized I was not signed into the same profile as my last laptop but the account is the same on both laptops but they have two different gamertags. I also tried to play forza horizon 5 and it made me restart the game and I don’t have any of the add ons that I have on my old laptop. I also don’t have any of the friends I have on my old laptop.

You may have purchased the Forza under that account or if you have an Xbox game pass under that account, Forza is included on the catalog.

If it is a different account then why was I able to download forza on my new laptop but not the add ons.

One Microsoft account can be linked only to one Xbox profile. I am positive that you're signed in under a different account.

Please check all Microsoft accounts that you own. Please be mindful of the domain as well (outllok.com, hotmail.com, etc.)

New Laptop, the one I got now only operates in safe mode and I can't tell what is wrong with it all I know its not a virus.

Thanks for the help but I've given up. Using my laptop I managed to create him a new profile. He'll just have to replay his games on his new profile, which I'm sure isn't going to be a burden to a 12 year old!

I don't suppose there is any way to move his gaming details to a new profile, is there?
