    Wrong MyVIP Star Rank Percentage


    I have never not been a xbox live gold member, but my dashboard says

    "Current Amount Back on Purchases: 3%You could be earning 6% by going Gold"

    I saw a similar error about my gold status on my Xbox a while ago, but it went away. I definitely have gold and have checked multiple times. What’s going on? I'm not sure how long it has been like this, but my rewards are being cut in half. Please fix this
    and credit my account.

    Apologies for the inconvenience. There is currently an issue with some preview program members where new subscriptions are not correctly recorded. This was due to changes for those members in how subscriptions are stored in the database. We are working on
    getting this new subscription data correctly reflected. We are also delaying MyVIP for April until this issue is resolved, to ensure that you are rewarded at the Gold level, so you are not missing any Credits. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused

    I saw a similar error about my gold status on my Xbox a while ago, but it went away. I definitely have gold and have checked multiple times. What’s going on? I'm not sure how long it has been like this, but my rewards are being cut in half. Please fix this

    Hi Org1nizdGeneral. In order to receive payback for purchases, you must first unlock a MyVIP Star rank. Once you unlock a Star rank, you'll earn a certain percentage back on qualifying purchases. To learn more about the MyVIP program, visit our FAQ:

    I didn't get any Credits

    We only see one purchase on your account on July 23 for 6.75 GBP. A five star rank requires 1200 GBP in eligible spending off the Xbox store. Since you did not spend this amount, you did not reach five stars. Your total spending of 6.75 GBP puts you at zero
    stars. This means that you do not get payback. From our FAQ:

    What is MyVIP?

    MyVIP is an exclusive feature of Xbox Live Rewards that gives members a certain percentage back in Rewards Credits for monthly purchases made in the Xbox Store. In order to start earning MyVIP, you have to unlock your first star by spending at least £200 on
    eligible content. While eligible purchases you make track towards your year-to-date Star Rank, your MyVIP Star Rank is recalibrated each year based on your previous year's spend. As your MyVIP Star Rank grows, so will the percentage you get back each month.
    Plus, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, your percentage doubles, and you can earn up to 10% back each month in Rewards Credits.

    Please note: Purchase minimums refer to pre-tax totals.

    order to start earning your % back, you have to unlock your first star by spending at least $300 (or regional equivalent) on eligible content. While eligible purchases you make track towards your year-to-date Star Rank, your MyVIP Star Rank is recalibrated
    each year based on your previous year's spend. As your MyVIP Star Rank grows, so will the % you get back each month. Plus, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, your percentage doubles, and you can earn up to 10% back each month in Rewards Credits.

    Please note: Purchase minimums refer to pre-tax totals.

    Since you have not made 300 EUR in eligible purchases, you are not eligible for MyVIP payback, since you do not have any MyVIP stars.
