Wrong language with Battlefield 2 : Modern Combat (Backwards Compatibility)

Hi everyone!

Since few days, Battlefield 2 : Modern Combat can works with the Backwards Compatibility.

There is no problems with the installation but the game is stuck in german. (Text + voice)

For information, my Xbox has the french language + french location.

I have tried to uninstall the game, change my location to UK and I have installed again the game but it is still in german.

My game is the Orginal Xbox version and is in french.

I didn't find something to change manually the language of the game.

If anyone can help, I will highly appreciate this.

Thats not how bc works

One your account region actual region console region and language must be the same as per the region locks

Once you make the purchase it is in whatever langusge you purchased it in

So in this case german

If you are swiss you have a variety of languages to buy in but you must select at purchase one of the.nationally supported language of the regions

Only xbox one games are language or region independent

But in this case, I bought my game in France (more than 10 years ago) and my console is in France and is french too.

I'm sorry if my question wasn't clear but I don't see why the game is in german (The game & the Xbox are french)

[/quote]You do realise that quoting wikipedia, which is a user edited database, not a factually accurate database is of no actual value in a discussion. As has been shown Battlefield 2 was on consoles.

And Battlefield 2 was a PC exclusive. Battlefield 2 Modern Combat is in no way related to the PC-exclusive Battlefield 2. It's a spinoff series much the same way the Bad Company series is.
