Wrong Language/region

I have recently purchased a key for xbox game Red Dead Redemption. It vas via cdkeys.com, and the region supported said
Worldwide. After the purchase I wanted to redeem the code on my xbox and it said "you can't acquire this item in the language you have currently selected".

I'm from Slovenia, therefore I can't select my native language/region in xbox settings so I chose English (UK) instead. I'm not sure what to do since I probably can't just change the language that would reflect my true location which is
Slovenia.

Please help me resole this issue. Thank You.

Wrong language chosen at initial setup, now stuck at update screen failing to connect to wifi

She must have not only the wrong language, also must be wrong the region, because Xbox don't allow to choose Spanish , by example, in U.S.

Sadly, there's no way to set the system language to English if you don't live in an English speaking country. I have the same problem, I absolutely hate the Brazilian Portuguese dubbed games and keep my settings as English/Canada (because Canada is more awesome, sorry US), but can't use credit card or Xbox Movies without resetting the system.
For now, the best we can do is vote in one of the several Xbox Feedback demands to dissociate languages from region on Xbox or let you download games on a language different from the system language.

Hello, try to change the language to English USA, redeem the Code and after that put your settings in the way you like...

1. Double tap the Xbox logo button on your controller.
2. Select Settings. It is the gear icon.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System, then select Language & Location.

Sorry to hear it. Xbox 360 games are not available in all countries. It seems that you've found one here. If it's locked out of your region then there will be no way to download the game. This is usually as per governmental restrictions imposed by the
different countries.

If you bought the game under the impression that it was available worldwide then I'm afraid that you would need to contact the seller for a refund if you cannot redeem or download the game.

 

Hi, it is possible that you bought the code from another region region you can change in console settings.

Tap the Xbox logo button on your controller.

Select System, then select Language & Location.

For future purchases to avoid such problems, use the Xbox Store, thank you.

 

Only keys for Office 365 Home/Business edition can be redeemed that way. The message prompts me to redeem my code on Xbox:

"Xbox. Please redeem this code on your console."
