    Wrong country in Xbox Rewards


    Hi, I've just realized that I opened my Xbox Live Rewards account in the wrong country.

    I live in Spain and my Microsoft and Xbox accounts are spanish. But now I have noticed that when I open my Rewards account it goes to a /en-mex/ internet address. I guess I opened my account by mistake as a mexican account.

    I have read that I must close this Rewards account and open a new one in the spanish page. Is it right?

    Wich is the best way not to loose my current rewards credits. I have now 4.750 credits, and waiting to receive the 250 from the april survey.

    Should (can) I wait for receiving the Mex $ when I get the 5000 credits, and spend the money before changing the contry?.

    Or is better to close the mex account before the credits are converted in local mexican currency? Would I keep the 4.750 current credits or would I loose them?

    i cannot conect to xbox rewards it says your country doesnt have it ...... my account is german and i live in germany. is there something wrong ??

    Hello DerVolK91! Thank you for reaching out. It appears that your Xbox LIVE account is set-up for a different country (not Germany. To change this, you must reach out to support on managing your Xbox LIVE account:

    We see that you are a Spanish Rewards member. Do not opt out of the program as that will close your account and you will lose all your progress. It sounds like you may have switched your browsing locale. You can switch your current browsing locale via the
    Change Region button in the bottom left corner of the Rewards website.

    It looks like the information we are receiving from billing caused you to be labeled as Canadian, which is why we deposited into CAD for your account. Unfortunately, once Credits are deposited, we cannot take action on them. You may wish to reach out to
    billing support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) and have them investigate your account. This information reporting you with Canadian billing is also why your deposits have been failing; when we attempted to deposit USD from your US Rewards
