    Wrong account used to request a replacement controller


    I requested a replacement controller via my son's old xbox account and didn't realise, but now I can't access the request as the email associated with that old account is inaccessible. I've tried to contact Microsoft numerous ways but either they hang
    up, can't get a call back etc etc. Any ideas please?

    My suggestion is to not try and repair your controller yourself but to Go to the Device Support, sign in with your Microsoft account, and then select Replace an accessory to request a replacement controller:

    I'm unable to understand what is wrong with the PID of the accessory you are trying to replace.

    Can you try to enter this PID once more under the
    Request an Xbox Controller replacement     article and see if you are provided with additional options?
